Architect: Design & Construction

Diverse architecture

  Del Mar Station
The Metro Gold line is a state-of-the-art rail system that links Pasadena to downtown Los Angeles. With its picturesque 19th century business district, Del Mar Station is one of the Line's most prominent stops. Here architect and urbanist Stefanos Polyzoides talks about Del Mar; click here if you'd like to also hear him talk about Mission Station.

  Harbor Town
Located on an island adjacent to Memphis, Harbor Town is a 130 acre town with 500 houses, 400 apartments, condo's and townhouses, 43,000 square feet of commercial and retail space, a small private school and several green spaces. The community consists of three neighbourhoods.

  Ladera Ranch
Ladera Ranch is a 4,000 acre community built on portions of the O'Neill/Avery/Moiso family's 23,000 acre Rancho Mission Viejo cattle ranch in south county, California. It is the largest remaining working ranch in the highly urbanised county.

  Seaside
Seaside, the little Florida coast town that spawned New Urbanism, is 25 years old this year. An 80 acre resort community on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, Seaside has town homes and homes ranging from one-bedroom penthouses to four-bedroom cottages. Among Seaside's most distinctive features are its nine street-end pavilions, built as shared gateways to the sea.

  Savannah & Providence
Hybrid Traditional Neighbourhood Development (TND) / planned communities focused on selling to the under-served Dallas/Fort Worth single family starter home market. The communities are less than an hour's drive to Dallas, with good access to the surrounding major metropolitan area. Each community offers a mix of leisure activities such as a clubhouse, a water park and playgrounds. The communities share a new fire station and an elementary school in Providence.

The Dr Pepper / Seven Up Ballpark
Conceived as a ballpark within a park, the 8,800-seat facility is designed with a ring of pavilions containing concessions and 27 luxurious suites set within an open-air garden concourse.

  Rosemary Beach
Rosemary Beach, the Florida Panhandle's newest sustainable community development is located on 105 beachfront acres, just 8 miles from its pioneering predecessor, Seaside. Its 460 homes face north-south oriented boardwalks and and lanes, allowing residents easy access to the shore line. The architecture is Anglo-Carribean, which is a hybrid of Old South architecture and the Colonial British West Indies.
